75 min Full Body or Deep Tissue Massage

75mins: from £65

The archetypal massage treatment you see in every upmarket spa in the world. Refreshing, invigorating, yet deeply relaxing this treatment can reduce stress, increase range of movement in joints and muscles, improve blood circulation, increase concentration, promote healthy sleep patterns, improve skin elasticity, and reduce pain and stiffness in muscles and joints. Pressure can be light or deep, however you wish on the day.

I usually use grapeseed oil, but powder or lotion can be used instead.

You can choose to have a relaxing routine that covers the whole body (back, arms, legs, shoulders, neck & face), or request that I focus more on specific areas of trouble. It’s your treatment, so it's your choice.

Back, Neck & Shoulder massage

45mins: from £50

These are most people’s trouble spots. Whether through overwork, poor posture, stress or a hundred other reasons, our backs, necks and shoulders can harbour a lot of tension, stiffness and pain. This focused treatment concentrates on these areas. You can either lay on the couch or use a massage chair, you can be under a towel or fully-clothed, oil can be used or not. It’s entirely up to you.

If you wish, part of the time can also be used for a head and scalp massage, which has been shown to reduce headaches, anxiety and tension.

Massage: book by time

from £50 for the first 45mins
£10 each extra 15mins (max. 2hrs)

If you wish, rather than booking a fixed treatment, you can book a block of time - in 15 minute chunks - and after discussion, this treatment time can be used however you like: perhaps part for a scalp massage, part for a foot massage, finish with thirty minutes on your back and shoulders, for example. Some people even book an extra 15 minutes on the end specifically to relax without any treatment at all because they enjoy the luxury of not feeling that they need to jump off the couch straight away.

Holistic Elemis Facial

60 mins: from £65

A full pampering facial, beginning with a deep relaxing neck and shoulder massage, then your arms and hands, followed by a double cleanse removed with hot towels, toning, a facial massage, exfoliation, a second toning, a nourishing face mask, and either a scalp or foot massage while the face mask does its magic, a final toning and ending with eye serum and neck & face moisturiser.

My facial treatment uses the same Elemis products used in top spas across the world, products that are not only superb quality but also vegan and cruelty free.

Combine a full facial with a back massage or salt scrub to have a complete spa day in your own home.

Express 30 min Elemis Facial
£35 (adds 30 mins)
Add a facial to your main treatment for a total pampering experience. I use Elemis products suitable for all skin types. As well as being used in many top spas around the world, Elemis products are vegan and cruelty free.

Taking 30 minutes, an express facial includes a double cleanse, exfoliation, a face mask, toning, eye treatment and moisturising. While the face mask does its work, you also have the option of a scalp, hand or foot massage.

A treat for your skin and a treat for you.

Exfoliating Sea-Salt Back Scrub
£10 (adds 15 mins)
or
Body Brushing

£10 (adds 10 mins)
An exfoliating salt scrub massage removes dry, dead skin and reveals the supple soft skin beneath, also the pores are left unclogged of dirt and bacteria that can build up over time. The same abrasive friction between the salt and skin which causes exfoliation, also encourages the circulation of blood, and that gives the skin an attractive and rosy post-scrub glow. You can enjoy a sea-salt scrub on your own, but it's hard to reach your back and neck - so treat them too by adding this to your massage. The scrub will be done first, as it helps your skin benefit even more from the oils in the massage.

Dry Body Brushing the skin before a massage is said to improve circulation and increase lymphatic flow, while ridding the skin of dead cells. Plus it helps get rid of ingrown hairs. A body brushing will start at the soles of the feet and, using light strokes towards the heart, cover the legs, arms and back. The process adds about ten minutes to the treatment time.

Facial Massage or Scalp & Neck Massage
£10 (adds 15 mins)
The ultimate in quick-fix additions to your full-body or back massage.

Facial Massage:
When you’ve been face down for 45 minutes, your face will thank you for adding on this fabulous 15 minutes of gentle circular and tapping motions, combined with acupressure, releasing tight jaw and cheek muscles, eye sockets and forehead. The perfect end to your session.

Scalp Massage:
Despite being such a thin layer of muscle, we hold a surprising amount of tension in the scalp. Using a mixture of effleurage (stroking), tapotement (finger tapping) and gentle hair pulling techniques on the scalp to revive circulation and loosen tightness, plus deeper techniques on your over-worked neck muscles, this add-on is always one of the most popular whenever I work at high-end spas.
